Listen to long texts and web novels
Long texts are much easier to get through by ear than on a screen. You can keep reading while you cook, clean or walk.
Members have no length limit. SayText splits even very long texts into sentences and fetches the next ones ahead of time, so reading flows on without gaps.
It remembers the sentence where you stopped in each text. Signed in, you can start on your computer and carry on from your phone.
How to do it
- Open saytext.app in Microsoft Edge and sign in for free.
- Paste a long text into '+ New text' or upload it as a file.
- ▶ continues from where you stopped; ⏮ starts from the beginning.
- Sign in with the same account on another device and your texts are all there.
Sound plays in the Microsoft Edge browser (free on Windows, Mac, iPhone and Android). If you open SayText in Chrome or Safari, it shows you how to open it in Edge.
Good to know
- The bar that sticks to the top of the screen shows 'N / M sentences', so you always know how much is left.
- Add several chapters to a playlist and the next one starts when the last one ends.
- Install SayText as an app to open it straight from your home screen.
